finished p. slips & washed & iorned them. wrote letters & got books up. (sent bill payments) Cleaned wood work, washed windows, cleaned my bed room & dineing room & kitchen. Ivard called at 11:30 he thought I was comeing up after him but I couldn't find any one to go. Kids went to Primary.

Wednesday, September 29, 1948

Got a birthday card from Ivard & he sent one from Kids too then they gave me one & Lyle & Gail each gave me a nickle all they had. I made chopped pickles & did some carrots for Bill. had soup for supper. baked bread. did my starched iorning. Lyle went to Mutual & got home at 10:45. Mother called to tell me Happy Birthday, talked to her, Dad & Minnie. said she had pkg. ready to send.

Tuesday, September 28, 1948

got Kids off to school then I bathed Ray & Gene & washed my hair. bottled 14 qts tomatoe Juice & cooked two more kettles ready to do when I got home from relief society. bathed & Mrs. Stoker came after usat 1:45. Ivard called me. I gave a retold story on programe had good lunch, opening social. bottled 14 more qts. tomoatoe Juice. ate & got books up & wrote to Mother & Louie.

Monday, September 27, 1948

I did up work & made 2 batches of chilli sauce. Cooked two kettles of tomatoes for Juice in morning. After supper I studied my story I have to give in relief society tomorrow.

Sunday, September 26, 1948

The 3 big kids went to sunday school & Lyle stayed over to Ballentines until 11: I baked bread, churned butter & did a basket of iorning. Jimmy came home with Gail & stayed all night. I cooked supper & we ate at 4: & Gail & Jerry did dishes. I read until midnight.
