Monday, February 16, 1959

Ivard & I went back to work tonight

Wind blew hard then about 10: it started to rain & rained all day.

I gathered up clothes & sorted them & Ivard did chores. Kids bathed & went to school, Kay & Gene left early for Seminary. at 10: we left for Caldwell & stoped at Simplots & got my check & told them I'd be back to work tonight. We went to Nampa & saw Real Estate guy & got Ivards check & he marked up & pd. car & baler & we went back to Caldwell to Bank, got groc. & Ivard went & saw lawyer about our deed to place so we can hurry & settle up our deal then we went to Ontario to Bank where we had our first escrow & to Land Title office to see if we could find out anything about T.A. Allen to clear a flaw in title. Came home & went to bed. Kay went ward teaching.
