Thursday, April 10, 1958

I came home from work & Kids had gone to school today. We ate & when Ivard got chores done we took Jerry, Dale & Jackie & went up to Simpots & Jerry got his check & we went to Caldwell to bank & Jerry & I went to Penny's 50th anniversary sale & really got some nice bargains. I laid away 24 yds of Percale at 25¢ a yd. & got Ray a pr. of levies for 1.44. Jerry got Gene & Ray & Kay a shirt & Dean a pr. of Levies & him 4 shirts. We got groc. and Jerry bought usa root beer. We went to dairy & got 2 gal. of icecream & calf feed & cheese & stuff. got home at 2: & put stuff away & went up to Metcalfs to get Lyle but he wasn't home so we went to New Plymouth & watched Adrian beat them 8 to 0. Rained on them. came home & ate & I went to bed until time to go to work. Jerry went back tonight so him & I drove. Ivard didn't work.
