I got up at 5: & made lunches & took Jerry to Nyssa. came home & took Kay at 6:45. fixed breakfast & washed 2 batches of clothes while Ivard went & got Duaines trailer & him & I & Dale went to Caldwell & left trailer at Arts & went to Nampa & got Ivards check, the biggest he ever got $276.97 they took $70. away from him or he'd really had a big one. We had a root beer & loaded cow & calf after we went to the banks & pd. some bills. Came home & I cooked dinner & Ivard went to work at 2:30. He got bumped & floated on 3:30 job.
Worked on my books all afternoon & made out payments to mail. had to go & get one of our new cows clear down by Hickmans, hunting her calf. at 7: I went to Nyssa & got groc. & waited for Jerry, he worked until 8:15. came home & Kay was already home. fixed Kids some bread & milk & we all got to bed.
