We never got up until 8: Gene felt alright this morning. Barbra made hot cakes & we ate & I hung out the clothes we left washing yesterday.
Sunny & a breeze.
Ivard & Lyle watched Rose Parade & Orange & Sugar bowl games back & forth; then they watched the Rose & Cotton bowl games the same way. I got books up & helped Dean write to Mother. Barbra cooked a roast & got a big dinner at 1: & tonight we had hambergers, I fixed. got clothes in & aired.
It started to rain about dark. Kids went to bed & we played Penochle until 10: & went to bed. Lyle had to go out on a flight at 2: A.M.
